In 2006, Dominique captured the podium at the Turin Olympics, placing third in
her competition. She is the only Canadian to have received an Olympic medal in
the Snowboard Cross Division. She also proudly raised Crystal Globe at the World
Cup ceremonies in Japan, which is given to the competitor who achieves the
highest cumulative points throughout the World Cup competitions.
